Alumna making waves at Uber
AUT alumna Jenna Hannon is now the Growth Marketing Manager for Uber USA. She studied Marketing at AUT and was able to use these valuable skills in San Francisco, which landed her a role at Uber. One of her highlights at Uber is working with people across the world on a daily basis.
AUT’s L’Oreal trend spotter
AUT alumnus Sam Cheow is now the chief product accelerator for L'Oréal USA. His role is to identify and advise product and service trends. He started his career early on in advertising in Auckland after graduating from AUT. He is now based in New York City.
The alumni department and the MBA office hosted an exclusive networking event for over 50 prominent MBA and MPA alumni at the Auckland Art Gallery.
Since 2014, more than 72 students have secured internships using Internz to get in front of employers in North America who have presented a steady stream of opportunities for talented, motivated students and new graduates.
Current students and alumni are invited to the AUT ICT and Engineering careers fair on July 26. We have an inspiring line up of employers attending, including Agility CIS, Auckland Council, AUT ICT Services, Catalyst IT, Datacom, Deloitte, EY, Fiserv, Fletcher Building, Flintfox, Ganellen, IBM, ICM Asia Pacific, Jade Software, KPMG, NZ Defence Force, Orion Health, RDT Pacific and more.
These employers are here to showcase their businesses and recruit talented students. They may be offering part-time, summer internships, and graduate programmes. Take the opportunity to network with potential employers in your chosen field.
