Alumna making waves at Uber
AUT alumna Jenna Hannon is now the Growth Marketing Manager for Uber USA. She studied Marketing at AUT and was able to use these valuable skills in San Francisco, which landed her a role at Uber. One of her highlights at Uber is working with people across the world on a daily basis.
Float Studios, a business started by six Bachelor of Creative Technologies alumni while they were studying at AUT, has recently been acquired by Sydney-based technology company Finch. Four of the team will move to Australia to head Finch’s VR and innovation team, while Float Studios will continue releasing games from New Zealand with Jake and Charlie working on VR and graphic design.
The alumni department and the MBA office hosted an exclusive networking event for over 50 prominent MBA and MPA alumni at the Auckland Art Gallery.
Since 2014, more than 72 students have secured internships using Internz to get in front of employers in North America who have presented a steady stream of opportunities for talented, motivated students and new graduates.
Better By Design CEO Summit is a two-day, inspirational design conference that explores how design can be implemented into any business. The conference brings together international guest speakers, thinkers and innovators, alongside top New Zealand professionals from the largest and most innovative companies.
